Contributors

This is where we feature people who contribute articles – or ideas that we work into articles – to the Tome. We can include a short biography provided by the contributor and share links to their social media profile or anything else they want to promote.

Diana Sanders, The Travel Tome’s very first contributor (Aberteifi Sonata, A poet’s meeting with a brown hare in North Wales), is a musician, composer, and award-winning poet. She has composed six published works for flute. Her poetry has been published in numerous magazines and anthologies in the UK, the USA, and India. Much of her work is influenced by the landscape of North Wales, where she lives. She is one of four poets from North Wales featured in a collection of eco-poems called I Am Nature, which was published by Veneficia Publications in April 2025.

See more of Di’s work on her Facebook page.

Anthony Regan is Michael’s dad and The Travel Tome’s second contributor. His love of travel is surpassed only by his obsession with beer (Michael is glad to have inherited the first and not the second of those passions). Anthony has visited far-away and exotic locations like New Zealand, Australia, The Gambia, Senegal, Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore – and yet nowhere has captured his imagination quite like the little old Isle of Man. Such is his enthusiasm for the ‘Jewel of the Irish Sea’ (and beer – have we mentioned that?) that it inspired his first contribution to the Tome, Say hello to the fairies… and the breweries.
